Since 2021
George Mason University Korea hosts the annual Progress at Play Competition,
urging global students to craft computer games or digital art addressing contemporary social issues.
The competition aims to debunk negative perceptions surrounding
computer games while promoting public awareness of current societal challenges.
This competition encourages participants to freely express social issues
Such as inequality, the wealth gap, environmental issues,
the digital divide, the low birth rate, and refugee issues
through their own perspectives.
Please feel free to express the challenges our society needs to
solve through cooperation and continuous efforts!

(High School Division)The intergenerational transmission of abuse, one of the causes of child abuse cases, is a significant issue that society as a whole must work to resolve.
This competition gave me the opportunity to think more deeply about this problem and feel a greater sense of responsibility.
Thank you to the organizers for hosting such a great competition. -
High School Art TeacherThe students created works on diverse themes such as war, environmental issues, and bullying.
I hope this competition continues to be held in the future. -
